Ellen – Five Month Portraits

I told you that I was a little late on the four month portraits blog post… so late that three days later, the very next post is Ellen’s five month portraits! ha! Oh well. Such is life with two little ones at home and trying to run a business in my “down time.” Anyhow… Ellen has hit some milestones just in the last week or so. I don’t think she looks all that much older in a month, but she is sitting up with minimal support (though she still needs some or else she has 2 seconds before she topples over). She also started saying “ma ma” and “mom,” and just yesterday/today, she started saying “na na” and “la la.” Poor daddy; I am sure “da da” is next! :-) Anyway, we are having fun, living life. We are so blessed with two very sweet little girls. Happy viewing, friends!

i missed the mark on the timing. It was so nice out this weekend, and we had plans for just about every moment Claire was awake. So, I tried to do Ellen’s portraits during Claire’s nap, but Ellen was ready for her nap, too. I got maybe 2 smiles from my otherwise very smiley lil girl. oh well.
