Courtney & Chris – Engaged!
This may be the quickest turnaround on engagement pics to wedding pics that I have ever done. Courtney and Chris are getting married Saturday! Also… I just did this shoot (and another shoot just afterwards) a few hours ago in Lake Placid. Crazy. I usually wait until the most ideal moment to post on the blog for maximum traffic, but for the sake of time, this one is being put up now… while my daughters are asleep… and just before I pass out myself. Yesterday, it took us over 9 hours to get here… it usually takes me 6, if I am by myself or alone with my husband. Oh man! Life with babies and potty-trained toddlers. So glamorous!
Anyhow… today was the first time I met Courtney & Chris. Fortunately, we didn’t have to wait until the wedding day. Even if they never use these portraits around their home, having this time today with the camera in between my face and theirs was invaluable to making their wedding day go smoothly. I so enjoyed getting to meet them and getting to know them a smidge more. I am so excited for their wedding this weekend at the Lake Placid Golf Club! It should be absolutely perfect day for a wedding! (I have to apologize to any of you with super sensitive eyes out there- laptops are not my preferred way to edit pics and once I view these on my desktop, I may feel these aren’t perfect, but again, for the sake of time… they are up!)
