Dianna & Phil – Wedding

Last Friday, I had the pleasure of photographing Dianna & Phil‘s wedding at the Yellow House of Willowdale in Kennett Square. The weather could not have been more perfect for their big day, and the whole event ran seamlessly thanks to the crew from Angela Malicki Events. There was so much love, joy and passion between these two that there was no denying that we all had reason to celebrate their union. As I listened to them make their vows and watched them during their first dance, I was struck by the reminder that I would do all of that all over again with Chris. I have high hopes that Dianna & Phil will feel the same when they attend a wedding seven years from now. :-) Happy viewing friends!
I absolutely love this moment between Dianna & her mom. Her mom’s speech seriously made me tear up, as she mentioned that she had thought of this very day before she even left the hospital with Dianna. I can relate and can only imagine what Claire & Ellen’s wedding days will feel like.
Father & son. What a cutie!
cows!! ha!
several of of you asked for more detail pictures on my survey. I have a hard time taking up lots of room on the blog post with details just because I don’t think that is what I am best at nor do I think my detail shots are THAT different from most other wedding photographers, BUT… you brought up a good point that you want to see more of what the couples did to make their day extra special. SOOO… new blog boards with details from weddings! this was a great wedding.
obviously, of all the detail shots, the ring shots are my favorite to do. If the typewriter had been in better light, I might’ve played with that (yes, they had an ancient typewriter for guests to use to type well-wishes). They used the typewriter to type out all of their escort cards.
i know that not everyone loves white “christmas lights” at their wedding, but I adore them simply for the effects I can get (as seen in the last shot, this shot and the next FIRST DANCE shot).
sunset was perfection! Dianna & Phil had hot food at their table, so I didn’t want to spend more than 30 seconds to take a few pics. Here are the two keepers:
Thanks so much, Dianna & Phil! Your wedding was such a blessing to me, and I am super thrilled to get moving on your album!

We were lucky to be guests at the wedding and I have to say…you captured the event beautifully! These pictures are insanely gorgeous!!! Dianna and Phil will feel like they are right back in those moments every time they look at these!
Thanks, Jen!! I sure hope they will always treasure these.
