Tori & Dave – Engaged!
When I first met Tori in person, I KNEW I just HAD to photograph her wedding. She was incredibly sweet and bubbly, and I knew in my (pregnant) gut that I would thoroughly enjoy working with her every step of the way. She booked on the spot, at our first meeting, which made me even more excited for her October nuptials to Dave (who had a “family emergency” of sorts on the day we had set up a meeting). When I left that meeting, we ended on talking about their engagement session. My maternity leave puts a little wrench in some of the best times of year for Philly portraits (SPRING!), but I was confident based on last spring that we could get them some nice spring portraits at the end of March/beginning of April and still crank out proofs, etc. before I took 2 months off. Well, this year, spring has decided to have a slow intro. Sure, SOME grass is turning green, but flowers are sparse and trees are still bare. But, Tori & Dave did NOT want to wait another week; the excitement was there! So, off we went, this Monday, to the Old Mill in Media for their session. And, even though it was a bit chilly (low 40s!), you could barely tell by their excitement. I had a blast!! Can’t wait for their wedding this October in downtown Philadelphia! Happy viewing, friends!

I was super excited there was a large bamboo patch here! there is one in front of my mom’s house growing up, so I get nostalgic about playing in the bamboo every time I am near it.
