Celebrating 50 Years!
To celebrate 50 years of marriage… the anniversary of their honeymoon in Lake Placid… they came back (with family in tow). And, of course, it HAD to be documented. I am truly honored that I was the one to do it. And, while i hate to cut the story short, it has been a tiring past few days, travelling alone with a toddler and taking care of said toddler (acting as a single mother, almost), amidst this shoot and a wedding… i am one beat cat that needs to rest up for the 5 shoots this week! That’s right, blog friends, get ready for daily postings. :-) Anyway, I apologize for the lack of commentary… just know that there were a ton of “picture perfect” shots that I am not going to bore you all with… instead, I am sharing the in-betweens AAAAANDD a few of my favorite silly faces. :-) Happy viewing, friends!
first off… i have to say that I was disappointed to arrive at John Brown Farm (my most photographed location) to see this… bummer… moving sessions away from here is a must for the next two weeks while I am up…
the newlyweds. :-) I seriously am so impressed with couples that stay together so long. As someone who has seen hundreds of couples take the plunge, i know THAT is one of the easiest parts. But, it is the year-to-year, day-to-day, even minute-to-minute decision to stay committed and devoted to each other that takes the hard work (though they honestly make it look effortless- and I honestly am waiting for Chris and my “hard” work moments). ;-) Congrats!
