Lacie & Mac - St. Lawrence |

A fter 8 years together (since attending college at St. Lawrence), Lacie & Mac are married!! Sunday was completely filled with joy as these two were united in Christian marriage. Everyone there was just tickled with excitement for the newlyweds, as were Ann Marie and I... even with the craziness of doing 2 weddings in a weekend. Congrats to you both... and happy viewing!
I absolutely loved the details of their wedding day!
Lacie was such a stunning bride.
The walk to the chapel from the Alumni house.
The ceremony was so wonderful... I got a little misty, especially when the pastor asked Mac to hold Lacie's hands and look at them because "these will be the hands that will care for you... will hold your children and grandchildren..." I mean, who keeps dry eyes during that?!
Technically this may not be the best shot, but I love it. This is the moment the couple shared just as they reached the end of the aisle, outside the church.
Again, loved the arrangements! Very fresh and creative.
This is my absolutely favorite image of the day. Love it!!
Sweet bride... sweet toes! ;-)
Love their looks.
Lacie, again... beautiful!
The college campus proved to give us TONS of backdrops to work with... and the perfectly sunny day lent us some flare.
Haha! Mac was... umm... well, happy to be married! :-D
The movie theatre in Canton posted their congrats to the new couple, so naturally, we HAD to get this shot, even if it meant a traffic jam.
The cake cutting... so yummy that they ran out!
Congrats again! This weekend, we will be in Columbia, SC... then in Asheville, NC. So, I will be out of the studio from Friday on through Monday, June 9. :-) |

Amy & Kevin - Ogdensburg, NY |

H mm... as I was looking through Jatha & Andy's images, I came across this one...
What's going on? ;-) |

Jatha & Andy’s Engagement Session |

W e had to reschedule this shoot due to the impending chill and rain (that didn't really get here until last night), but we still didn't have the perfect sun I was hoping for this sweet couple. Nevertheless, we did their shoot on Friday, and I really enjoyed every minute of it. Jatha & Andy are quite possibly the sweetest and calmest couple I have worked with in a long time... as soon as they walk in the room, it is like a breath of fresh air. So, without further ado... Happy Viewing to you!
I never intentionally try to recreate an image I've captured before, and this is slightly different from Lacie & Mac's... but, you will see why I did this someday...
Love this spot... and love Andy's expression!
Getting cozy.
Loving flip flops.
That is a whole lot of cuteness there...
This spot was an afterthought, but I loved the textures so much. I really love how this came out.
SWINGS!!
Jatha is going to be such a beautiful bride.
Even windblown, she's got it. :-)
May be my most favorite of the day...
Their puppy came along for a few shots. This was the closest to "sit still" we could get. ha!
More cuteness...
Thanks so much for being flexible, guys. I am glad we avoided the rain! Can't wait for July! |

Danielle & Mike’s Engagement Session |

E arly early on Sunday morning after a restless night of tossing and turning (being fearful of sleeping through the 5:30am alarm), I arose to shoot Danielle & Mike's engagement session on the grounds of the Sagamore where they will be wed in exactly a month. Even though it was painful for all of us to wake up at the same time as the sun, we really had a great time together. They kept me laughing, as long as we kept pumping coffee into Mike. :-) The light was perfect, the grass was glistening, and the grounds were very quiet. I love these shots, all of them! So... happy viewing!
a peaceful, chilly spot...
Danielle & Mike love hiking, so while we did no such thing at the crazy hour, we did go a little into the woods...
How cute are they?
I just love how this came out. I am sure I look like a nut ducking into the bush/tree thing, but you do what you must to get shots like this...
This couple was just so fun... jumping out of trees and such.
The Sagamore is on an island... this is the bridge over the little canal part of Lake George.
So cute!
While this looks almost infrared, it really is just very wet grass that was GLOWING in the morning sun. Love the fun feel of this one.
Not sure I can pick a favorite, but this one is close...
I mean, I was going for a shot of Danielle's beautiful ring, but instead, I got a fun shot like this... in the spot they will get married.
Can't wait for the wedding next month!!! |
