Happy Father’s Day to my love
I know that some people may be nauseous by the things I post publicly about Chris or on his Facebook wall, but I don’t feel like I’ve posted anything on here lately. And, what better time to express my thoughts than on Father’s Day?!
I will never deny that we are extremely blessed. There is not much more I could ever want and certainly nothing more I need in my life than what I have now. I am blessed to have met Chris over 8 years ago. I am blessed that we fell in love a little over 7 and a half years ago. I am blessed that he asked me to be his wife just 2 months shy of 7 years ago and that I became his wife just 5 months after that (do the math, our 7th anniversary is in September). I am blessed that we were able to get pregnant and that I have given birth to two amazing daughters. I am so blessed, and I could go on and on and on until you are bored to tears. The bottom line of this list is Chris. He has blessed my life in immeasurable ways, but even beyond myself, I love to witness him blessing our daughters’ lives every day. Claire & Ellen are so blessed to have a father that adores them so much and invests so much of himself in them. I pray daily that they will be so blessed to find a man as amazing as their dad to be their husbands one day. We are blessed, my love. Thank you for all that you do and all that you are. We love you so much!
…and because I can’t post without a picture… here are my VERY overdue portraits that I set up on Christmas day as a present to Chris’ parents. I am just now getting around to giving them the final presentation of those portraits we set up (we did a whole studio set-up in their living room since all of the kids were together).
