Earlier this spring, I met up with this beautiful family near the Horticultural Center in Fairmont Park in Philadelphia for their daughter’s First Communion Portraits. But, true to my style, I cannot photograph just the kid. The parents MUST be in the portraits too because… one day, our kids will look for us in pictures, and they need to find us in them! Fortunately, this is never really a question I have to address with my clients. So, we set out to make this session start out as her official First Communion portraits and end as some dreamy family portraits just after the peak of the blooming of the spring trees.
I love the spring. After a long winter, I just love seeing nature come back to life in the most magical way. I am so glad that we were able to capture these first communion portraits during this beautiful time to further enhance this little beauty’s beauty! This was the second time I’ve worked with this family, and as much as it is an honor to have returning clients, it is even more of an honor to have returning clients that are also talented photographers. Check out the end of this post to see a few of the products we made from these images. Happy viewing, friends!
